In short: Onde Passa doesn’t ask you to sign up and doesn’t collect your name, e-mail or phone number through the site. Below is, in detail, what happens to visitors’ data.
1. Who is responsible
Onde Passa is a product of DANTAI, CNPJ 00.176.524/0001-38, the controller of the personal data processed on this site under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018 — LGPD).
2. What data is processed
Access logs
Like any website, the server automatically logs technical data for each visit: IP address, date and time, page visited, browser and operating system. These logs keep the site running and secure and are kept for at least the 6 months required by Brazilian law (Marco Civil da Internet).
Language choice
On your first visit to the home page, the approximate country of your IP address is looked up in a database
installed on our own server, only to open the site in Portuguese, Spanish or English. The result is not stored.
The country database is “IP to Country Lite” by DB-IP,
licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. If you pick a language, it’s saved in the lang
cookie for one year.
What is not collected
The site has no sign-up, login, forms or third-party analytics. Team searches are only used to show the result and are not linked to you.
3. Cookies and ads
Today the site only uses the lang cookie (language) and no advertising or analytics
cookies. In the future, the site may show Google AdSense ads. In that case, Google and
its partners may use cookies and identifiers to serve and measure ads, and this policy will be updated
beforehand. Where the law requires it, your consent will be asked for.
Learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com and choose the ads you see at adssettings.google.com. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
4. Why data is used and the legal basis
- Running and securing the site (access logs and language): legal obligation and legitimate interest (art. 7, II and IX, LGPD).
- Ads, if any: consent, where required, or legitimate interest (art. 7, I and IX, LGPD).
5. Who data is shared with
- Hosting company, which runs the server the site is on.
- Google, only if and when there are ads, as described in section 3.
- Authorities, when there is a court order or legal obligation.
Data is not sold. Some of these providers may store data outside Brazil, with the safeguards set out in the LGPD.
6. Links to other sites
The site lists TV channels and streaming services and may link to them. Once you leave Onde Passa, the other site’s privacy policy applies.
7. Your rights
Under the LGPD (art. 18), you can ask for: confirmation that we process your data, access, correction, anonymization or deletion of unnecessary data, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent. To do so, use the channel on the Contact page. You can also complain to Brazil’s data protection authority (ANPD) or the one in your country.
8. Children and teenagers
The site is informational and does not knowingly collect data from children or teenagers.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated. The date of the latest version is always shown at the top of this page.
